Highly ranked UFC lightweight contender Khabib Nurmagomedov is the latest fighter to sign an individual sponsorship deal with Reebok.

Company officials recently announced the agreement with the Dagestan-born Russian. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. Nurmagomedov joins the likes of Ronda Rousey, Conor McGregor, Paige VanZant, Joanna Jedrzejczyk and Rory MacDonald with individual deals with the sports apparel manufacturer.

Due to injuries, the undefeated Nurmagomedov (22-0 MMA, 6-0 UFC) has not fought since an April 2014 win over now champion Rafael dos Anjos at UFC on FOX 11. With Donald Cerrone next up for dos Anjos’ first title defense at UFC on FOX 17 in December, Nurmagomedov will fight Tony Ferguson (19-3 MMA, 9-1 UFC) the week prior at the TUF 22 Finale.

Nurmagomedov is ranked No. 2 and Ferguson is No. 10 in the NOS Energy Drink MMA lightweight rankings.

Nurmagomedov is undefeated since his pro debut seven years ago, and 14 of his 22 career wins have come via stoppage. However, the 26-year-old fighter has fought just once since September 2013 due to injuries and now returns from a recent ACL surgery. In his most recent bout, he earned a decision victory over Rafael dos Anjos, who went on to win the title that he still holds.

This past December, UFC officials announced the promotion had partnered with Reebok to provide fight apparel and uniforms for every athlete on the roster.

Starting July 1, all UFC fighters now wear a standard Reebok kit into the octagon. Fighters with individual sponsorships, however, are expected to be afforded an increased level of influence over their attire.
