The end is nigh for rough diamond Kylie Platt.
And Coronation Street bosses have already warned it could be the most shocking death in the show’s history.
Despite it not being clear if she's actually killed by another character, the big question on everyone’s lips is bound to be WHODUNNIT?
Luckily for Corrie fans, we’ve rounded up the potential runners and riders behind Kylie’s exit from the soap.
Here’s a list of the potential killers...
Sarah Platt
You’ll remember from Corrie’s live episode in September that Sarah, Kylie’s sister-under-law, witnessed Kylie kill Callum Logan with a metal wrench.
Sarah, played by Tina O’Brien, then helped Kylie and David bury Callum’s body under the house.
That’s not something you forget overnight and we know Sarah has found it hard to cope with the guilt.
Her paranoia has escalated to the point where she’s convinced she’s seen Callum alive.
When someone is this unstable, who knows what they’ll do next.
David Platt
David, Kylie’s husband, was the third culprit in the Callum-killer triangle.
Kylie’s keen to move to Barbados to start-a-fresh but David is reluctant to leave Weatherfield.
David’s not a violent man but he has form for being unpredictable and irritable.
Could David lash out at Kylie? It’s possible.
Freddie
Kylie and Freddie struck up an unlikely friendship when his wife died.
The retired mechanic, played by Derek Griffiths, almost appeared from nowhere but seems a mild-mannered man.
But we know very little about Freddie’s character.
Could there be something more sinister lurking beneath that calm exterior?
Gail
Kylie’s had a thorny relationship with her mother-in-law in the past.
It’s fair to say they’ve had their ups and downs - most memorably when Kylie had a baby with with Gail’s other son Nick after sleeping with him behind David’s back.
Oh, and that time Gail had to have her granny flat dug up because Callum’s corpse was buried beneath it.
Could Gail snap after all this turmoil?
Pat Phelan
He’s the baddy builder on the street and we already know he’s capable of awful things.
Remember when he bullied Anna Windass into sleeping with him?
Or the time he tormented Michael Rodwell so much he had a heart attack?
Pat’s just got rid of Jason Grimshaw.
Is Kylie next on his list?
Tracy Barlow
Tracy’s the cobbles’ resident killer after finishing her ex Charlie Stubbs with an ornament in the lounge.
He had cheated on her with Maria Connor but Tracy’s actions prove she’s prone to crimes of passion.
Could she strike again?
Becky McDonald
Becky, played by actress Katherine Kelly, is Kylie’s half sister and it’s fair to say this pair have a love-hate relationship.
Kylie ruined Becky and Steve’s plans for adoption with Kylie even trying to blackmail Becky into BUYING her own son Max.
Becky lives in Barbados now but could she still hold a grudge against her half-sibling?
