Today Soccer Aid will bring together the stars of sport, music, television and film to raise money and support for Unicef’s work for children in danger.

And if you didn’t manage to bag a ticket, you can watch from the comfort of your own home instead of heading to Old Trafford.

The brainwave of singer and former Take That star Robbie Williams, Soccer Aid kicks off at the home of Manchester United, at 8pm.

The match will be shown live on ITV, with coverage including clips from the training sessions, starting from 6pm.

England will be managed by new Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho assisted by Unicef UK ambassador Robbie and Sunderland manager Sam Allardyce and they will take on the Rest of the World team managed by Leicester City’s Claudio Ranieri.

Celebs on each team will be joined by some of the world’s biggest names in football.

One Direction’s Louis Tomlinson, popstar Olly Murs, actor Damian Lewis, TV personality and Heart FM radio host Mark Wright, pop star and TV presenter Marvin Humes and Bolton comic Paddy McGuinness are among the celebs taking to the pitch for England with Robbie Fowler, Jamie Carragher, Phil Neville, Sol Campbell, David Seaman, Jermain Defoe, Danny Murphy and Kieron Dyer.
