David Beckham shared an adorable black and white photo of himself as a baby lying in his dad Ted’s arms to mark Father’s Day.
The former Manchester United footballing icon credits his dad for moulding his son’s love of football.
The father-of-four Instagrammed the photo with a loving caption for Ted who encouraged his love of the game and helped to guide his career, which began when he signed for the Reds as a schoolboy.
He said: “Happy Father’s Day dad... Support and love is what children need and deserve , I was lucky to have both... To all the fathers around the world happy Father’s DayX”
David’s eldest son Brooklyn, 17, also shared a throwback photo on Instagram of the pair together with the words “Happy Father’s Day.”
Emmerdale star Adam Thomas is celebrating his second Father’s Day with his adorable toddler son Teddy.
Adam, who recently got engaged to his long-term love Caroline Daly, Instagrammed a photo of the three of them together with the moving words: “Much love to all u dads out there it’s my 2nd Father’s Day and it’s safe to say it’s been the best two years of my life getting know and bring up this lil man with his beaut of a mum to which I owe everything... couldn’t of done it with out you ... Literally.”
Fellow Emmerdale actor Chris Bisson’s partner Rowena Finn, who gave birth to their second child Ella Rose in December, celebrated by sharing a photo of the family hand prints.
The artwork shows Chris’ prints next to their son Harry’s and her prints next to Ella’s.
She tweeted: “Happy Fathers Day. Especially @ChrisBisson who goes above & beyond to look after our babas. We love you."
And former Coronation Street star and Strictly Come Dancing finalist Georgia May Foote shared an ultra-sweet photo of her as a baby with her dad.
She said: “Happy Fathers Day to my best friend in the whole world. There’s not a day gone by that you haven’t been there for me. The kindest person I have ever met in my life. I love you daddy.”
