This is the shocking moment a driver ploughs into the back of a cyclist in Oldham.
Dashcam footage shows vehicles negotiating a roundabout in Shaw near to the Aldi store.
Traffic seems to be moving freely as cars and other vehicles pass over the junction. But then – as the recording continues – a car is captured smashing into a cyclist who is waiting to move forwards.
As the car from which the incident is being filmed approaches the scene, the cyclist is then spotted lying prone on the floor with his arms in the air.
The driver of the car which has hit him gets out, before appearing to check that the cyclist is unharmed.

The clip was shared on the Idiot Drivers UK Exposed Facebook page on Friday. Hundreds of people commented on the incident.
Shaomin Lee-Murray said: “Driver was probably too busy looking to his right for cars in the roundabout to notice anything in front of him.”
But Si Wright said: “That was the bikers fault!! Undertaking the car then going in front of the car?”
James Nisbett said he thought the ‘car driver was blinded by the sun’.
Antony Linford’s comment was more reasonable. He said: “If there were a way to blame the cyclist I’d find it but in this case not your fault pal. Hope any injury or damage was minor and you sorted the thing with the car driver.”
And Simon Neale said: “Whilst cycling, I’ve been hit twice. Fortunately, it was when I was a lot younger and bounced better, so I was unhurt. As a driver, it makes me a lot more cautious: look out for our two-wheeled friends, please.”
