Sing along to this amazing wedding video with the happy couple who decided to give their special day a unique soundtrack by performing songs from the musical Grease.

Kat and Phil Clive wanted to do something unique to remember the day they said their vows, and so instead of traditional scenes, they enlisted friends and family to help perform the musical’s most iconic tracks. Produced by Manchester based company Lightspeed Film Co. The five minute video sees the congregation captured running through renditions of ‘Summer Nights’ while getting ready for the wedding and ‘Look at Me, I’m Sandra Dee’ during the church service.

And the couple – who have been together five years - even took the time out of their busy day to perform ‘You’re the One That I Want’ atop a picturesque bridge for their unique piece of wedding memorabilia.

In other scenes Phil and his pals are seen crooning along to ‘Grease Lightning’ in his car, and later him and Kat lead the wedding party in a rollicking version of ‘We Go Together’.

Kat said that she had the idea for the video after being involved in another music video Lightspeed Film owner Ben Herbert produced for her friend.

The 28-year-old, whose family run the Ti Sento jewellery store in the Trafford Centre , said: “We did ‘Don’t Stop Me Now’ by Queen and I thought it would be perfect to do one for my wedding video.

“It had to be Grease. I am a massive fan of the film and wanted to be Sandy when I was young. Everyone thought I was mad but I have seen loads of boring wedding films and thought why not. I wasn’t sure Phil would want to do it but he just went for it – he ended up being the best one.”

After marrying at a glitzy do in Cheshire last month which also featured a huge fireworks display and zombies, Kat said that seeing the film has made their amazing day even better.

Kat, who lives with businessman Phil in Cheshire, added: “We were just getting over the day and then saw the video – which was perfect. The reaction has been overwhelming, my dad organised most of the the day and it really was brilliant. There were so many surprises but having this to remember the day is the icing on the cake.”

Ben, who runs Lightspeed Film Co. said: “I was blown away by Kat and Philip’s performances on camera - the bridesmaids and groomsmen too.

“It was definitely something special and you can really see the fun everyone had throughout the day, on camera. We’ll all be watching it and crying laughing for decades to come.”
