Still confused about the EU referendum? Don’t know which way to vote?

Have no fear, six-year-old Harry Connor has you covered.

The bright school boy from Denton has put together a handy guide on Thursday’s poll to help you decide whether to vote Leave or Remain.

His video may be aimed at youngsters, but the adorable politics buff is sure to give TV pundits a run for their money it comes to explaining the complex issues surrounding the referendum.

The first in his two part series - posted on his own YouTube channel - he explains what the vote is all about, and why it was called in the first place.

Using toy figures, Harry explains that the EU is ‘a sort of team or family that lets people and goods like toys, food and flowers, to move around like they are one country’.

He then explains the EU’s governance and why some people want Britain to leave, before going through the process of the referendum itself.

He says: “Us being in the EU - or not - will affect the way our country is run. It could affect our schools, jobs, doctors and more - and our future.”

Revealing that he is backing the Remain campaign, Harry adds: “I want to stay because I think it will be better for my future.”

His second video delves into some of the issues surrounding Britain’s membership in the EU, including immigration, trade, money and ‘the future’.

Presenting both sides of the argument on immigration, he sets out how some people think migrants place a strain on public services, but that others believe they contribute to society and pay taxes.

Harry also explains the mechanism of the European Single Market, saying that leaving the EU could be economically risky for Britain.

He then explains EU grants and subsidies - and the impact the UK leaving the EU could have upon household income.

Harry finishes the video saying: “Sorry if I got bits wrong, I’m only six after all.”

Harry made his video blogging debut at Christmas when he stared in a Manchester Arndale clip sharing his thoughts on the season’s top ten toys.

Speaking about his latest venture into political commentary, mum Gemma, 35, said: “We spoke to him about the elections last year and gave him the main points of all the party manifestos in simple form.

“He decided on the Green Party. He was leaning towards Labour, but doesn’t like the colour red.

“We let him decide his view on the EU on his own. It’s summed up in his view on immigration - ‘the more, the merrier’ - because he’d have more friends.”
