Boxing star Tyson Fury appears to have quickly got over the disappointment of his big fight postponement by running up a huge bar bill partying with England fans.

The World Heavyweight Champion is in Nice ahead of the Three Lions’ clash with Iceland tonight.

He was mobbed by fans after arriving in the city yesterday on France’s Mediterranean coast wearing an England shirt.

And the Wythenshawe-born fighter was the toast of the Red and White army after offering to get the drinks in.

Tyson, who grew up in Styal, Cheshire, ended up topless as he partied the night away buying more than 200 Jagerbombs and running a whopping bill of more than 1,000 Euros in the process.

He then tweeted a picture of his receipt from the bar after the generous act.

He said: “This is how much I love my fans, Euro 2016, 200 Jagerbombs, for the fans.”

Adding: “Today was a very fantastic day for me & all the fans that support me, we had a ball in nice, #fury&myfans. Epic day. All or nothing.”

Fury was due to defend his world heavyweight belts in a rematch against Wladimir Klitschko in Manchester on July 9, having upset the odds to beat the Ukrainian in Dusseldorf last November.

However he revealed last week it would have to be postponed after he sprained his ankle whilst out running.

In a social media video to fans, he said: “I have got a little bit of bad news for you all.

“About 10 days ago, I was running in the Lake District and went over on my ankle and sprained my ankle.

“I’ve been to the hospital and had X-rays and MRI scans. They said it’s not broken but badly sprained, keep off it for six to seven weeks.

“I tried to train and had a second opinion and had the same advice. The fight will be being postponed. Sorry to all my fans for letting you down but injuries do happen. It’s one of those things.

“My apologies to everybody who has booked dates but the fight will be on as soon as possible. That’s all I know but the fight is still going ahead. Once the ankle gets better, we will reschedule.”

The M.E.N. revealed yesterday he was in talks over a potential unification bout with fellow Brit and rising star Anthony Joshua, before he sustained the injury.
