Hundreds of people donning bucket hats and lemon themed t-shirts have already got their night going with trips to the numerous pubs in the city.

Greater Manchester Police will have dozens of officers out patrolling the streets near to the stadium in Beswick and in the city centre , but they have also decided to keep an eye on things from above.

The regional police helicopter was seen above the city several times on Friday afternoon, which is understood to be monitoring the groups of music fans.
