The 18-year-old died in hospital two days after being run over and suffering stab wounds to the neck and abdomen in an attack on Moss Lane East on May 12.

It is believed he was chased by a group of men before being struck by a blue Vauxhall Corsa and attacked in the street.

The car was later recovered from a small road off Athol Road, in Whalley Range .

Abdul was taken to hospital but sadly passed away.

Police have now arrested two more people in connection with the investigation.

A 20-year old woman and an 18-year-old man, both from the Moss Side area, were arrested on suspicion of murder.

They have since been bailed until September pending further enquiries.
