Rocko

Just one of the dogs looking for a home at Dogs Trust Manchester

Rocko would love a home where people are around most of the day as he likes the company of his two-legged friends. He likes dogs too so he’d be happy to share the limelight with another pooch, but not a cat!

At 18 months he is a young boy so can get excitable and smother you with kisses whenever he sees you! He absolutely loves training to challenge his very quick mind, so he’d like his new owners to continue with this so he can learn more and more.

Greyhound Rocko can live with children aged over 16 and the team say he would make a great family companion.

Bella & Donna

Bella is looking for a home
Cuddly Donna is looking for a loving owner

Lovely Bella and Donna have lived together all their lives so are looking for a home together. Aged seven, these German Shepherds both enjoy getting out and about for walks and Bella in particular enjoys a game of fetch – she also loves being groomed!

They are both really friendly and adore cuddles so don’t want to share their home with any other four-legged friends and Bella needs a little help when it comes to knowing how to interact with dogs other than Donna.

They are homeless through no fault of their own and need their new home to have at least two people so they can be taken out together – they’d also benefit from a large garden to be able to exercise and relax in.

Tai

Love and patience is all you need to give six-year-old Shar Pei, Tai, the home she deserves. She came to Dogs Trust after her owner became ill and sadly could no longer look after her. Tai has some medical issues but Tai would be supported through Dogs Trust’s Shared Adoption Scheme where charitable donations help to support medical treatment for the rest of the dog’s life.

Tai is growing in confidence, likes to be on the move and enjoys a treat. She is longing for a quiet forever home but could live with children aged 14 plus who are happy not to fuss her too much if she needs some time to herself. She would prefer to be the family’s only dog.

Jonty

American Bulldog Jonty found himself homeless after a change in family circumstances and now at the age of nine he’s hoping to find a forever home. He is a big softie and loves a cuddle but sadly his eyesight isn’t great, although that doesn’t stop him having fun playing with his toys and two-legged friends, and even having a go at a game of fetch.

Jonty could live happily in a home with children aged 14 years and over and would like to be around people most of the day. He has also previously lived with cats and could potentially live with another calm dog.
