Bob

Just one of the cute canines at Dogs Trust looking for a home

‘Beautiful Bob’, as the team at Dogs Trust Manchester call him, is looking for a home with patient owners who enjoy getting out and about on lovely long walks. At just three, Bob, a Flat-Coated Retriever, loves being around other dogs but can be a bit much for some, and he doesn’t like sharing, so he needs to learn some manners to make sure he can have fun with his four-legged friends.

He is a clever boy so his owners need to make sure he is mentally challenged through games and training too. Then he’ll be a very happy dog! He likes to be around people so needs owners who are around most of the day. He can live with children aged 16 plus & could also potentially live with another dog.

Toby

Like most collies, Toby is a lively boy with lots of energy but he can be a little shy and sensitive too. His favourite pastime is playing fetch which he will play for as long as anyone is willing to throw a ball – but he’s more than happy to bring it back!

As he can be shy his owners will need to let him find his paws in his new home and let him come to them for cuddles and affection at first. He’d definitely like to be the only dog in the home. As he doesn’t like cars the team are doing lots of training with him and his new owners will need to carry on with this then they can all enjoy great days out.

Buddy

Crossbreed Buddy, aged six, is a really friendly boy who loves heading out for good times with his two and four-legged friends. He likes to have fun and loves playing with his toys but when playtime ends he is also happy to settle down with a tasty chew as he loves his food.

As he is a friendly boy he could potentially live with another dog but although he loves to meet people when he’s out and about, he would prefer it if there weren’t too many people coming and going at home. He can live with children aged 14 and over.

Sidney

Shar-Pei Sidney likes his cuddles and so he’s hoping there’ll be lots on offer in his forever home. He loves nothing more than spending time with his human pals once he knows them and although at the moment he doesn’t seem to be too interested in playing with toys, the team are sure this four-year- old will show his playful, cheeky side in his new home.

He will need to be the only dog in the home but has lived with a cat so could potentially set up home with a feline friend!

George

Just one of the cute canines at Dogs Trust looking for a home

American Bulldog George has been at the centre quite some time waiting for his new home. The four-year- old originally found himself homeless after his owners felt he was being left on his own too much due to their work commitments. Now he is looking for a new home with a large secure garden where he can have fun and play to his heart’s content with his new owners and his toys.

He will be happiest in an adult only home with no other pets. He will be a loving and loveable addition to his forever home.

Chick

Just one of the cute canines at Dogs Trust looking for a home

As well as a forever home with two-legged friends, Border Collie Chick needs to live with another dog who can help her build her confidence. When she’s around other dogs her playful side really comes out of her and she definitely knows how to have fun – it’s a joy to see!

Aged two, she is still a young girl and is quite nervous so she will need lots of TLC to bring her out of her furry shell. When she has built trust with her new owners, she will be a loving and loyal friend and a great canine companion for her owners and her doggie partner too.

This sweet girl needs an adult only home with few comings and goings as she can become overwhelmed but whoever becomes her special someone will have a wonderfully rewarding relationship with her.

Duke

Just one of the cute canines at Dogs Trust looking for a home

Duke is a handsome 10-year- old chap who sadly found himself homeless after his owner passed away. Although he is a ‘golden oldie’ he also loves going on walks and the way to his heart is through his food. This Belgian Shepherd Dog also loves to play with his toys as well as with his best friends here at the centre.

He doesn’t like being overly handled so would be best suited to an adult only home where he is the only pet to lap up all the attention. He will need time to build trust with his new owners before heading home so would like to meet them at the Rehoming Centre a few times.
