A giant monster truck will be handing out treats on a visit to Manchester.

Cadbury have designed the first ever Monster truck taxi which are taking round the UK.

Standing at 9ft tall and weighing in at 1.5 tonnes, chocolate fans will be given the chance to climb up and sit inside the cab.

The truck will be in Manchester on Tuesday, May 31, parked up near the statue of Wellington at the Oldham Street side of Piccadilly Gardens.

And staff will also be handing out samples from the brand’s new range.

They include Dairy Milk Big Taste Toffee Whole Nut, Dairy Milk Big Taste Oreo Crunch and Milk Triple Choc Sensation.

The exact date and timing of the truck’s visit to Manchester next month - as well as the specific location - is yet to be revealed.

The chocolate-filled super truck will also be visiting London, Liverpool and Birmingham as part of a UK tour.

Gemma Flanigan, Cadbury Dairy Milk senior brand manager at Mondelez International, says: “As part of our new Tastes Like This Feels campaign, we wanted to bring to life the unique feeling and the big taste sensation that Cadbury Dairy Milk Big Taste bars deliver.

“What better way to do this than by creating Britain’s first ever Monster Truck Taxi and inviting chocolate fans on board to experience a new and epic ride – the perfect metaphor for the feeling that Cadbury Dairy Milk Big Taste bars evoke.

“Sitting at over two metres in height passengers are sure to be in for a treat when they climb inside the cab and we can’t wait to take it on tour!”

Last Christmas, Cadbury toured the country with huge lorries as part of an advent calendar campaign.
