Ezekiel Elliott's bank account wasn't the only big winner after Elliott signed his $24.9 million rookie deal with the Cowboys on Wednesday. Cardale Jones is also going to get some cold, hard cash from the deal.

Sure, it's only five dollars, but it still counts.

About an hour after the Cowboys officially announced that Elliott had signed his contract, Jones took to Twitter to send a friendly debt reminder to his former Ohio State teammate.

We've all been there. You loan your buddy some money, he takes his time paying you back, so you have to hit him up on payday, and that's exactly what Jones did. I used to do that to my brother all the time in college. "Yo man, I know you got paid today, you owe me $3.75 for that Taco Bell I bought you at 4 a.m. last weekend."

Anyway, Jones is the big winner here, because not only is Elliott going to pay him back, but he's going to pay him back with interest.

Five dollars (plus interest) might not sound like a lot of money to you and me, but Jones, who was drafted by the Bills, is now living in the most affordable big city in the country, which means he'll probably be able get a nice dinner with that five dollars.

Jones will have some more money in his bank account after he signs his rookie deal. Based on last year's rookie contracts, Jones can expect to sign a contract that guarantees him roughly $350,000, which is slightly lower than the $24.9 million in guaranteed money that Elliott received in his four-year deal.
