"Birds of a feather flock together" as the saying goes. The people you draw to you are people who reflect some aspect of yourself. Ideally, they reflect your best self, but sometimes they don't. Do you find yourself holding on to a friend with whom you are always arguing, or saying unkind things about them behind their backs  - and you suspect they do the same to you? A real friend is someone who is concerned about your well being, and takes care not to hurt your feelings. Some of your acquaintences may deeply resent you. They may harbor jealousy or envy. They secretly hope you fail, they are glad when you appear to be suffering. These are not your friends, but you may be holding on to them our of habit. Are you in toxic friendship? Is it time to change the people in your life?
