Today in the derby telegraph an 18 year old woman with mental health issues was named in relation to two consecutive crisis involving her wishing to end her life. Naming her as "attention-seeker" in the title of the article has not only caused her anxiety of her college peers and acquaintances reading the story which goes into great depth of her personal struggles but is also playing to a dangerous stigma that those suffering with borderline personality disorder are indeed not unwell but attention seekers.

I'm asking for your help to encourage the derby telegraph to retract the article naming herself and her home Street as well as issue an apology to this young woman for the undue distress being named in such an article has caused. Please sign to support this young lady and help end the stigma around bpd.
