Add Hyland Hills Water World to the list of Front Range attractions with tons of summer job openings.
Water World on Wednesday morning announced it will begin interviewing for about 1,000 cashier, lifeguard, food and park services positions in early March. Applicants must be 15 or older for most of the jobs, however, applications for some positions will be accepted from workers as young as 14 years old.
“For many, this is their first job and we are dedicated to providing a meaningful work experience for the kids that make the team,” Water World spokeswoman Joann Cortéz said in a news release.
Applications must be filled out online at waterworldcolorado.com.
Water World hopes to have hiring completed by the middle of April. The park, which is in Federal Heights, opens in May.
Water World lifeguards must be certified through National Aquatics Safety Company and classes are held at the park for those who are not yet certified.
Elitch Gardens, the downtown Denver amusement park, earlier this month announced 1,500 summer job openings for workers as young as 16.
