The Halloween weekend weather shouldn’t be all that scary, as we should see sun in the mornings and a chance of showers in afternoons.
There could be some isolated showers on Saturday evening, when little ghosts and goblins go trick-or-treating.
South Florida’s Friday forecast calls for partly sunny skies with a high temperature of about 85 degrees, a low of about 76 and a 30 percent chance of rain.
The rain chance remains at 30 percent on Saturday and eases to 20 percent on Sunday.
Trick and treat: From weather expert Jim Lushine:
Looks like a treat for Halloween evening with only a very slight chance of rain, light winds and temperatures near 80 degrees.
In something of an astronomical trick, an asteroid the size of a battleship will pass by Earth Saturday afternoon.
Astronomers predict it will stay outside of the Earth’s atmosphere; otherwise, it would be classified as a meteor.
