or more times.• The victory extended the Terps’ home winning streak to 26 consecutive games, which matches a program-high. Maryland won 26 games in a row in College Park was from Feb. 10, 1979 to Jan. 10, 1981 before the streak was snapped by a 66-64 loss to Virginia on Jan. 14, 1981. Maryland is tied for the fourth-longest active home winning streak in the nation. • Maryland is tied with Xavier for most wins in NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball with 21. The Terps are one of only three teams to be ranked in the top 10 all-season long (Oklahoma, Kansas). • Maryland (21-3) is off to one of its best starts in program history. The Terps went 26-3 to begin the 2001-02 season and 22-3 to start the 1974-75 campaign. • Maryland leads the Big Ten Conference in average attendance (17,837) and also ranks fourth nationally. • The Terps put on another strong defensive performance against Purdue Saturday and have elavated their play during conference competition. Maryland leads the Big Ten in scoring defense (63.8 ppg), field goal percentage defense (.385), three-point field goal percent defense (.272), and blocked shots (72) during league play.
